Draw Edge is a pretty fun, fast-paced time-filler that sees you battling your way through a series of platforms suspended high above the ground. Each level sees you confronting an enemy that you must flick off the platform by drawing lines on the virtual pad that appears on screen. Each completed stage earns you in-game coins that can be used to unlock weapons and customise your character. We like that the game supports haptics, with your device vibrating slightly when you win coins.

It is important to understand the nature of edges and how we see them. Generally speaking, we perceive edges as hard, soft or lost. An edge created by a change in object, plane or color tends to be hard or sharp. The edge that separates the land from the sky in the painting above is a hard edge. The horizon line which separates the ocean and the sky in the calm painting below is a soft edge.

A strong, direct light source tends to make edges appear harder or sharper than a weak, diffused light. The atmosphere or environment in which we are working can also affect the nature of the edges we see. A clear, midday sun will tend to create harder edges than a foggy morning (like the one below by Monet). Lost edges are so soft that we cannot actually see them (although we know they are there based on other elements). The edge which separates the two figures in the calm painting above is a lost edge.
